The AP+ roadmap highlights key industry and regulatory requirements and milestones along with other major AP+ activities. Initiatives that are under exploration may be brought onto future roadmaps. The roadmap is updated annually.

Leadership and Governance
AP+ is a member-owned organisation with a diverse range of members, including Australia’s domestic banks, international banks operating in Australia, some of the country’s largest merchants, payment service providers and payment processors, together with a range of challenger and disruptor brands focused on specific markets and products.
The Board of Australian Payments Plus has 13 Directors, composed of four independent Directors (including the Chair), four Directors representing each of the four major banks, two Directors representing other ADI shareholders and three Directors drawn from non-ADI shareholders.
The Board is supported by the Audit Committee, the Risk Committee, the Independent Commercial & Compliance Committee (ICCC), and the Talent & Reward Committee.
The Executive Leadership Team is responsible for the day-to-day management of AP+ to ensure that the overall purpose, strategy and values set by the Board are permeated throughout AP+’s business operations, risk management practices and people.
The members of the payment schemes that AP+ operates (BPAY, eftpos, and the NPP) are the backbone of AP+, representing a diverse range of organisations.
AP+ acknowledges the Gadigal People of the Eora nation as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we are based and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We recognise all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' ongoing connection to the lands and waters of Australia and thank them for their pivotal role in caring for Country. Always was and always will be Aboriginal Land.
